"The owner was very friendly and put out coffee and donuts for guests in the morning, which is a nice touch as are the various international flags outside welcoming all travelers. The location was convenient to visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia and the motel is right near the new Gateway visitor center (park & ride) which has a free shuttle to see the local sights, which we used several times to avoid traffic and limited parking near popular areas. We had a great stay."
