"I booked two nights for myself and my 12 yr old daughter. I was looking for somewhere with a bit of character, that was away from all the noise and bustle, had a good breakfast to set us up for the day and food available in the evening. I was not disappointed. The Weary Friar was such a great little find, a proper country pub with great food (nothing too fancy), friendly staff and peace and quiet to wake up to. Will definitely head there again!"

"Clean tody room with amazing views "

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Claremont. On arrival the access to the car park was straightforward and once parked up we were greeted with a lovely receptionist who checked us in. The room was very clean and lovely decor. Bathroom was modern and clean with a bath and shower. We had a dog with us and the doggy welcome pack was well received. "Stunning room with a stunning view. We stayed two nights in the upper deck and it was just fab. No restaurant as such so you’ll have to travel but we found a couple of fantastic places. If you don’t mind going out for dinner, this could be the perfect place"

I messaged the property owner via Expedia to request a cancellation but received no reply. The chalet is fairly dated but clean. "River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. "Rob and Nat gave us a lovely warm and friendly welcome. The food was excellent (breakfast and supper)...thanks Rob. Our room and bathroom was perfect...clean with everything that you might need. Lovely relaxed and homely atmosphere. Perfect location for visiting local landmarks. Highly recommend. Hope to stay again in the future. "

"This was our first time visiting Cornwall, and we were looking forward to a relaxing couple of days with the family. Unfortunately, the accommodation left much to be desired. Finding the cottage was challenging as the directions provided were unclear. We ended up having to stop and ask locals for guidance before finally locating it. The cottage itself was pleasant in some ways — we loved the beach-themed décor, and there was a generous selection of books, games, DVDs, and CDs for us to enjoy....
