"The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle...

"I booked this room for one night with my two young children to attend a sporting event nearby. The hotel is situated very near to the railway station and above a very noisy pub. The room itself is very basic which was fine for our one night stay and we appreciate there is little to be done about the outside noise however the window was broken we had to wedge it shut, this didnt help with the noise volume. "Rooms were clean and staff were helpful.
Had booked a room with a double bed. It was small - more three quarters size.
Room was also small and the bathroom was tiny.
Noise from other rooms adjacent (light switches being turned on) was more than you would expect, and when taps were run or toilets flushed in adjacent rooms it was very loud.
Cooked breakfast was below par - ingredients seemed to be basic/cheap.
Car parking is tight and easy for your car to be blocked in.

"At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. "I bought this overnight stay on the understanding there would be parking available as stated on your website , however i was then told there was no parking on site and i had to park half a mile away and walk in torrential rain .
