"It is an older property with its own charm. Location is close to shipping, restaurants, buys stops, train station, so very convenient. We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the top floor, end of the hall, so it was very quiet. Steps are narrow and steep, no elevator. Lots of exercise! Hotel staff was fabulous. St Fagans national museum of history and Caerphilly Castle are both worth visiting!"

"Parking very good. Very well placed for town and marina. Its an old, tired Travelodge, but Reception friendly and helpful. It will get better once its had a makeover by new owners."

"Very nice staff very friendly room nice with very comfortable bed also quiet. Only problem if you have difficulty using stairs inform hotel before booking. I was right on top floor 3 and a bit floors up had difficulty with luggage and stairs. Apart from that a nice hotel"

"Good location for the old city and M Shed. Easy to walk to most places. A good free breakfast to start the day. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom quiet. Parking is in a multistory right behind the hotel."

"Really friendly staff but my room was shabby with marked, stained and ripped wallpaper. It was located at the front of the property with a lot of late night noise and light from the main road. I see many other 10/10 reviews but can not say they reflected the room I was given. The room was clean, however."
