Closer to LCY (8 minutes drive), grocery, shops, restaurant and public transport (within 5 minute walk). The room was nice, the shower room was a nice size. But the only down side was there was no where that said you have to go into the pub to check in! "I stayed here for 4 nights while attending an expo at the Excel Centre. Perfect location, maybe a 15-minute pleasant walk to the Elizabeth Line and then only one stop to Custom House for Excel. The apartment gave me plenty of space to chill out after a long day, watch TV etc. I dined out every evening, but should you wish everything you would need for home cooking was there with the oils, condiments and spices to support such efforts. Abbey Wood is a depressed and depressing location (apart from the beautiful woodland & ruined abbey nearby) - but this is not the property's fault. "Noisy, ghetto, renovated garage that was made into a studio so there’s no soundproofing whatsoever, druggies hanging out just across the way, surrounded by estates .. the host was also rude and dismissive. The bed was ok though there was a clear dip on the left hand side which stopped it being good. Fridge is right next to the bed so could hear every time it made a noise. Advertises free wifi though no wifi box to speak of and I wasn’t about to ask the host where it was when he’d been so rude...

"The flat was tidy but not very clean in places especially the pull out bed which was damp, smelly and stained. One of the double bed was uncomfortable with a lumpy mattres. We only had enough bedding for two beds even though we booked for six people. Was a sleepless night had by all. Had no heating as couldn't get the boiler to work, had hot water but no heating.
