"Our room was perfect for us, a good size and lovely and quiet. Corridors were quiet and the floor did not creak as you walked along so we slept very well. Bed was very good, pillows less so. Hotel is in an excellent location for walking down the canal, ponds and woods, lots of green space just a walk away. The food at the restaurant was not as good as we were hoping but there are 2 very good pubs very close which served very good food. All in all though, for us, a very enjoyable stay"

"Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good.
What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly.
We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"

"The room had horrid smell had to get can air freshner. Would sudgest a deep clean of carpet.breakfast was adequate . Noise banging about from guests coming in late at midnight.shouldnt let dogs in breakfast room."

"Our room wasn t ready so after 45 mins we were given a different room but a double not the singles I requested
When went for breakfast there was confusion as they didn't t have us on the list.Sorted eventually
We stayed 2 nights but for some reason the housekeeper didn't t clean or leave clean towels extra the 2nd day
I told reception who gave me more tea coffee milk but no apology or explanation for the housekeeper not servicing our room Dissapointing"

"Staff were amazing, room was great and overall stay was good. Only downfall i had was the room was way to hot. The little fan provided was just blowing hot air around. Air conditioning would be a good investment especially during summer. I would have booked another night but the room temperature has put me off booking again."

"On check in the gentleman was cheerful and helpful. Explained night porter service, bar and food times and where n when breakfast was with no prompts. Bar staff were cheerful and amenable. Parking was easy and plentiful. Hotel guest parking is free. Had an evening meal which was good. Bar runs a happy hour. Breakfast is continental and cooked.
Cooked breakfast is prepared to order and arrived hot and perfectly cooked 5*"
