"Overall the place was well presented and very clean.
I’d had a very long day travelling and didn’t arrive until after 9pm. There was a disco happening on arrival and it was extremely noisy - which was no problem.
However, I had been placed on the first floor. I could hear the disco from downstairs and really struggled to switch off from being able to hear this noise. In hindsight I should have asked to move to a higher floor but due to being tired I just grumbled in my room instead.

"Very disappointing experience. When we arrived and entered our room, we discovered there was no toilet roll in the bathroom. I called reception to ask for some, only to be told that they were too busy to help and that we would have to walk back to reception ourselves — which was approximately a quarter of a mile away.
Rather than apologising or offering to resolve such a basic issue, the member of staff actually argued with me over the phone. I found their attitude extremely unhelpful, rude and...

"I stayed in the annex building above the gym while working nearby. The receptionist was very friendly and talkative and rhe room only a short walk from the main hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, with nice views over the woodland. The bathroom skylights were a nice touch, especially with the heavy rain. Breakfast was rather nice, with a good selection of buffet style food of a good quality."

Special mention to Will on the front desk and Poppy who was assisting with breakfast in the morning. I ’d highly recommend and I plan to return in the near future. Thank you!"

"Overall: Good stay, but limited food options
The breakfast here was really excellent — fresh, tasty, and plenty of choice. That was definitely the highlight of my stay.
However, the lunch and dinner options are quite limited. The menu is mostly sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and steaks — not much variety at all. In my opinion, the food just isn't worth the price. On the plus side, the drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel."
