"The staff was very friendly , but I felt they were short handed at the restaurants and the poolside . We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and my wife ordered ice cream for dessert and by the time we received it was all melted . "While there was an issue at check-in (no record of my free breakfast, and an additional $15/night fee which was more than the $12/night previously emailed), hotel management made it right. The staff and the service was fantastic, as was the food. The hotel is safe and the view from the room was fantastic! It was weird sharing a balcony with another room, but luckily we never saw or heard our neighbors. It's a lovely place, ESPECIALLY as an Expedia VIP member with the perks!"
