"Check in was not good. We arrived early, could not occupy our room..totally understandable, however, the hostess said she would call us when it was ready, she never did. We sat in the lobby from 1pm-3pm in full view of the front desk, no call. I went to the desk at 3pm and the room was ready and our bags were already in the room, which meant that our room was ready sometime before 3pm. Expedia's site and the hotels site both indicated the hotel had air conditioning...it does not...it was very...

"Fijn hotel in een oud kantoorpand midden in een (druk) winkelcentrum, wat overigens niet voor overlast zorgt. Ideaal hotel voor een nachtje aan de grens.
Parkeren is gratis voor hotelgasten, alhoewel het erg druk in de algemene garage is."

"It was a delightful surprise to find this impressive boutique hotel. Staff were excellent & our room was more than we expected. The restaurant served a plentiful, unique, & varied dinner on the patio. Despite the incredible heat it was fairly cool. And so delicious. Our stay was made even better when they provided taxi service from Basel airport & then to the airport the next morning. Promptly on time. I regret not using the spa service."

"Very well kept and extremely well located hotel, adjacent to the convention centre, so its purpose is obvious.
The rooms are nice and clean, the bathrooms are modern and well designed.
The gym is large and fairly well equipped.
The staff is super friendly and efficient.
A go-to place for those attending a meeting at the congress centre, and even for non business tourists."
