"The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious with comfortable beds.
The heating system in the lobby/sitting room area was pretty noisy. Needs some attention.
The dining area was pleasant with a reasonable breakfast. A bit of sourdough bread wouldn't have gone amiss.
I loved the garden with its beautiful trees and can see it would be a good wedding venue."

"As a frequent business traveler and Platinum member, I rely on consistent accommodation. This VIP Access hotel failed on multiple fundamental levels.
Prior to arrival, I explicitly requested a quiet room as a strict necessity to accommodate a non-visible sensory disability. At check-in, this requirement was dismissed with a comment about Halloween noise, demonstrating a complete lack of understanding regarding accessibility and disability needs.
The VIP recognition was limited to a 20% drink...

"Hi..it is a genuine spa-hotel...not a hotel with a spa. Healthy food (but also wine etc..) and it was delicious. Staff and amenities were solid and the rooms were 'fine' nothing over the top...but they do have Elemis lotions and creams in massive containers to use so even if you're not in the spa you feel like you are !!!"

"Really poor service from the reception team. We were charged for the room again at check out because she didn’t speak to us before charging to a card. It wasn’t even the card used to book but one used to pay for breakfast.
We were then told that she couldn’t fix it and WE had to email guest relations. We did and the guest relations sent an email back saying accounts will refund us IF the charge was taken twice in 3-7 days.
Accidents happen but this has been dealt with incredibly poorly and...
