"We were pleasantly surprised with Moody Gardens Hotel! Honestly 1 of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. We took our toddler to Moody Gardens for a full day (which we highly recommend), so we decided to stay here for 2 nights (other hotels looked old/outdated online). It was a short walk, which allowed us to come back to the hotel if needed (nap/snacks, etc). It was clean (i didnt feel like i needed to wear house sandals, which i normally do at hotels). "What a fabulous place! You won’t want to l ave! Loved everything including the sweet parrot Phidias, who makes his home there and who stays in his huge cage in the lobby. We feel spoiled and will be back as soon as we can!!!"

"It was very nice and perfect access to the beach! Nice swimming pool and great parking. It was close to the seawall, grocery stores and restaurants. "

First, the condo is on the 3rd floor. I was unaware of this fact until a few days before. This property does not have an elevator. "The condo was clean, smells clean and was very comfortable, especially the beds. The pool area was clean and well maintained but the condo association (separate entity) is not keeping up the outside repairs of the buildings at all and mildew does exist on the outside only! "

"There were a few things in need of repair, but overall the condo was nice and there was just about everything you need to cook stocked in the kitchen. The washer/dryer unit is pretty new. "
