"3 problèmes la première chambre la clef ne fonctionnait pas, retour à la réception la 2e clef ne fonctionnait pas également! Un janitor est venu pour essayer de réparer il a resserrer les vis tenant la porte alors que le problème était électronique. Découragés nous sommes retournés à la réception et on nous a donné une nouvelle chambre. Dans celle-ci la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas mais elle a été réparée en 5 minutes, don en résumé plus ou moins une heure pour avoir une chambre correcte....

"The hotel is brand new and well located. But I found the service lacking a bit. There was no-one at reception when I arrived to check in. The receptionist showed up 5-10 minutes later. Throughout my stay the receptionist was on the phone constantly and barely said hello. There was a fire alarm the next morning at 7am in my room. I barely got an apology for what was actually a "test". Then I complained about the tub which is extremely slippery and dangerous to get in and out. Was told there were...

"Furnishings were old English and the bath hardware was first class. The bed was comfortable"

"Bar area & seating was acceptable but the accommodation was two out of ten with stair carpet and landings disgustingly dirty & smelly . Apartment 6 room floor carpet needs replacing , walls have splash marks that are from previous occupants , shower door disgusting at bottom outside."

"The hotel was situated in town centre. Walkable to the river, local attractions and restaurants. We had a lovely stay and they have a small spa located next door which we used one morning. We did not eat breakfast there so unable to comment on food, the rooftop bar was lovely for drinks. Our door was difficult to open but staff were helpful and efficient."

"Such a lovely hotel with lots of history, 8 minute walk to the town. Beautiful decor and extremely friendly and helpful staff from the reception staff to the bar staff. They upgraded our room for free due to a celebration booking and could not have been more lovely. Thank you!"

"Everything worked, the staff, the amenities, restaurant, bar, check in and out, car park. All very efficiently run and reasonably priced. Tidy and good looking place, perfectly situated to explore Cambridge, right opposite the Botanical gardens and with the Railway station less than a 10 minute walk. Nice breakfast and although we did not indulge, they had a perfectly reasonable evening menu. Would stay again for sure."
