"This hotel is not a national chain. It is so unique and I found it by accident. Each room is decorated in a western theme. They are located next to the Appalachian Trial and in the mountains of Virginia. Beautiful. Each time I travel to this area I always stay at the Western!"

"Delicious large breakfast made by friendly and welcoming owners, served family style. Eclectic furniture and antiques initiated good conversation and interesting stories. The Honeymoon Suite was large and the bed was very comfortable. The en-suite was nice and clean but it’s important to note there is no shower. You can use the shower downstairs or use the included bath. Not a big deal unless you want to wash your hair. The grounds could be lovely but are somewhat dilapidated and very much need...

"This is a beautiful new feeling hotel with comfortable rooms and great beds. The parking is free and very easy. The area is quiet and safe. Very easy access to Abingdon. Free coffee and cookies and dog treats all day! The pool area is especially nice. Would highly recommend! "
