"We stayed in the Westerwood for two nights. Our room was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. All staff we came in contact were professional but friendly and seemed to be enjoying their work. There was a wide selection of both hot and cold food at breakfast. Both nights we ate in the bar and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay again. "

"I was woken up by the sound of loud banging at 0800 on a Saturday morning; when I asked the front desk what the noise was, they told me renovations were taking place on the 2nd floor, and that they were taking place all day, everyday (including weekends). This information was not provided to us before, during, or after we checked in, and now the hotel is telling hotels.com that we did not speak to them about it (so they can avoid paying out any form of compensation). If I could leave them zero stars, I would."

Rooms have been refurrbed - they have a nice shower - smallo cubicle BUT the corner entrance is T I N Y. I couldn't get into the damn shower to use it. Some rooms have open wal;k in showers so I'm not sure why I was matched to a room with the smallest shower in the place. Imagine paying premium and being unable to even wash :\ "
