"It’s walking distance of Hillcrest neighborhood which is nice. The only thing is the gate for parking is small, sometimes guest park there and block the gate. We had to wait or move multiple times just to get in."

"This was absolutely the worst property I’ve ever seen in my career. I travel more than 150 days a year. And ended up not staying. The sheets were threadbare and had cigarette burns in them, as did the dresser, the place stunk incredibly bad, the bathroom tub would not turn off the floors were moist and had bad repair jobs. It was also mold in the bathroom. This was unacceptable and I ended up not staying. Lastly, I tried to reach the staff for three days to cancel but was unable to get a return...

"This hotel is in the heart of the gas lamp district and makes it very easy to walk throughout the city to lots of restaurants, shops and amenities. The staff was extremely personable and helpful and always made a point to ask how things were and how I was enjoying my conference. This was a perfect location and style of hotel for my constant in and out to conference activities and social events."

"The Kings Inn could use a deep cleaning along with a face lift. When I walked into the lobby, I experienced an unpleasant smell. The elevator was off-limits to guests, unless accompanied by housekeepers. The $15 parking fee (no security present in lot) coupled with boisterous neighboring room guests were noteworthy. "Very clean property with nice restaurant options"

"The Handlery is evidently an older property due for a facelift and renovation. The pool was nice, though I was looking forward to an actual swim up bar. The rooms are adequate, but could use a bit more deeper cleaning. There was a commotion in our building where we had to deal with noise disturbance by an irate guest. Front desk did say they were handling it."
