"We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our bags at the hotel. We eventually checked in at around 9pm. The complimentary welcome drinks on the rooftop were a nice touch, with lovely views over the Memorial Park.
Unfortunately, I felt that we had been given one of the less frequently used or overflow rooms, as there was a noticeable stale smell when we entered. The room itself was fairly basic, with complimentary water and a kettle provided, but no coffee or sugar. These have to be collected from reception on the top floor, which is a little inconvenient.
Overall, there were some nice touches, particularly the rooftop welcome drinks and views, but the room and the lack of basic tea/coffee facilities let the experience down somewhat."
