"The vista on property was beautiful but the room we booked was suppose to overlook the lake and volcano but we got placed in a room that mainly overlooked the parking lot for the sky adventure park with some views of the lake visible. There were horse flies everywhere and tons of dead flies all over the floor in the room and in the curtains on the bed and in the bathtub. The traffic up to the adventure park was very loud. And there were no amenities on the property. But the lady on site...

"Staff was passive aggressive via whatsapp when we made a mistake on listing the number of occupants. This wasn't a big deal as there was just a minor price discrepancy we rectified immediatly. The biggest problem was the nest of rats moving and squeeking all night between the bedroom and bathroom wall. Yuck. Google maps shows a pool on site but note, there is no pool. My kids really liked watching geckos eating moths on the porch, beautiful views and assume it is generally a nice quiet stay...

"Property was amazing. Nice secluded piece of the rainforest paradise. Amazing how clean they kept it, and how they were able to keep any critters outside the house (no issues with bugs, etc). Would stay again."

"Schönes Zelt mitten im Regenwald. Die Anfahrt war allerdings etwas anstrengend. Deshalb sind wir auch beide Tage dort geblieben und haben vor Ort Wanderungen gemacht oder waren am Pool. Der ist klein, aber sehr hübsch angelegt. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wifi nur im Hauptgebäude. "

"The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. I really enjoyed the trails and bird watching tower. Everyone on staff was amazing as well. Reception was so helpful in planning my itinerary and arranging transportation. The on site tour guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their work. The food was delicious with lots of vegan options. My only minor suggestion for improvement is that the spa should be moved away from the pool area as it gets a bit noisy. Overall though, I loved...

"Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. The private trail was a moderate hike to a gorgeous waterfall and was a great taste of the beauty of the area without the crowds of Tenorio. Our 6 year-old loved seeing the red-eyed tree...

"The perfect and premier ecolodge for birdwatching and photography in Costa Rica with unique opportunities to watch King Vultures and other rare birds. We saw 14 adult and 6 juvenile King Vultures at the feeding station, 5-20 meters away, together with about 40 Black Vultures. Fruit feeding stations attract dozens of birds including toucans, parrots and Great Curassows. About a dozen palm trees with breeding holes attract diverse range of birds to breed 5-15 meters in front of the lodge,...

"Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....
