"The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes"

"We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting...

"Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff we met were very helpful & accommodating. "Will definitely recommend Pink Beach to anyone looking for a cosy place to stay on Isle of Wight.Helen and Dave are great hosts who make you feel really comfortable and welcoming. "We had a fabulous 3 night mid-week stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were attentive and really friendly and the food in the restaurant was exquisite. We had intended to find other places to eat during our stay but the food was so good here there was absolutely no point. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Everything was smooth, and service above and beyond. I did not personally love the layout of the rooms especially in terms of plugs, as these could be difficult to find (even behind someone's head on the bed headboard), however this is a very tiny thing and generally speaking everything went well and was easy. Breakfast was delicious and service attentive. Thank you"

"Thank you so much, had a beautiful time. Definitely will come back. Everybody was so accommodating the staff… the residents were lovely… The hotel also changed the ferry times. Accommodating our travels. Our Labrador went he had a beautiful time who is nearly 8 years old. The staff are so friendly towards Noah. Thank you so much once again for giving us a beautiful experience in Shanklin definitely will be back.X"
