The first night was a write-off in terms of sleep. Staff gave a late booking to a couple who had been drinking in the pub, and they stayed up most of the night with the TV on at a very high volume. "Check-in was easy, staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small with stains on the carpet and marks on the wall - not great. Evening meal was very good in terms of quality. Not great was serving time and overall state of chairs and tables. Chairs were absolutely uncomfortable and tables wabbly in restaurant and breakfast room. Parking was OK, but road into property is full of potholes."

"This is a great hotel for value for money. I may have caught it on a good weekend for pricing but the rooms were exceptionally clean and facilities great. Very central, no traffic noise. Gym is small but enough for a quick work out. Breakfast was good, everything catered for (except mushrooms). All included in the price. Staff were exceptionally friendly. I would say better than Travelodge or Premier Inn. Go to hotel in Preston."
