"Pool was closed for a couple of hours and elevator broke when we were there. They were able to get the elevator fixed fairly quickly. Great location for what we needed and room was clean."

"The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our room overlooked the pond which was very nice. Only complaint I would have was the sliding barn door style bathroom door. Parking was adequate and two nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. Coffee was very good and breakfast was as expected. The staff was very friendly at checkin and also serving the breakfast . It was a busy weekend for the hotel because of a softball tournament in the area and I would say they handled it...

"The Ankeny Diner delayed breakfast opening until 9am because of Father's day brunch. There were no signs or notices, and according to another guest the front desk clerk didn't even know about it, nobody at the hotel was made aware of "no breakfast" ahead of time."

"Location convenient to interstate. Free parking. Close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful and room was nice."

"It was okay and basic lodging, I arrived around 1030pm and got a pet room after a long day on the road. The room was musty and smelled of urine, or had unresolved "pet" odors. I didn't speak up until early check out as I was too tired, asked the front desk to address the issue and their response was, " the room doesn't smell", "it's a pet room and cleaned often", and rebuffed my offer for them to go smell it themselves. The front desk person seemed agitated when I brought the subject up and...

"I would stay there again, I have to set the room was clean except I found some ants on the bed?? Maybe from left over food in the room from previous guests or possible pets that were in there??? Not a fan of pets allowed into hotel rooms.. other than that I will stay there again."
