"The Lairds House is a unique place to stay. It has an historic charm and well furnished hotel rooms. I also ate there and the meal was good, but did suffer from an upset stomach after. In the morning as a result I had a very simple breakfast, avocado on toast which was slightly below par. My main concern was having booked through Expedia there was a dog fee which wasn’t clear of £15. "I stayed in the dog friendly room which was ok but not great. The carpets were stained and when we first walked in the room we could smell dog it wasn't a fresh smell. There was a half used toilet roll in our bathroom and no fan so it steamed up quite quickly. The room was at the bottom of the beer garden so was very noisy which wasn't that much of a problem. "Chose this pub as an overnight stay enroute to Scotland. We booked a table online for dinner as well. The room was excellent. Evening meal was superb as was the breakfast the following morning. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Parking available close to the room. Would definitely stay again and would recommend."

Ausstattung ist sehr gut, sogar ein Kühlschrank befindet sich auf dem Zimmer. Sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück waren sehr gut! Insgesamt die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise!"
