"This inn is quaint in a way that makes it perfect for anyone visiting Grasmere. It is not fancy, but is very comfortable and has excellent staff. I would gladly stay here for a week or more. "

"The room and bathroom was stark and held only the basic necessities. No facial tissues. No decorations to make it feel cozy. Food and service were good. Owners friendly and inviting. Parking very limited but that was the whole area. "

"Lovely property and location. Everything you could possibly need in the property. Fan a bit loud in bathroom. Parking little tight when full but doable "

"Bedroom wall had bad damp all over one wall which left a musty smell. Main room had only one blind which meant sun light woke me up at 4/30 am. Terrible mattress which was awful to sleep in. "
