"The main reason we chose this hotel was for the hot tub. We got up early to sit in the hot tub before heading into our day, but the pool/hot tub area doesn't open until 9 am. Checkout is at 11 am. Why can't this room be opened at 7 am?
When we addressed this with the morning desk clerk, she was not very nice or understanding. Some compassion training would be helpful.
And finally, I reserved this room through Expedia, paying for it In advance. When I checked out, the clerk charged me AGAIN through the hotel. It was clearly stated in the reservation that the room was paid for. Attention to detail is lacking.
While I was told the 2nd charge was reversed, it has not yet shown up in my bank. It's funny how withdrawals from bank accounts happen instantly, but refunds take days or weeks.
Needless to say, I will not visit this franchise of hotels ever again. "
