"Great location. Near public transportation and Columbia University."

"Clean and convenient location for our show at the Beacon Theatre. One star off for being able to hear guest conversations very clearly from outside our room. While the Wallace lounge was very presentable, the drinks and dessert were just ok. Would be nice for hotel guests to have priory seating in the lounge instead of having to wait or succumb to the bar. Overall, I would 100 percent recommend The Wallace and would probably stay here again if I’m visiting UWS again."

"Be prepared for lots of incidental charges. My booking was canceled because they tried to charge the first night prior to my arrival and did not succeed. My daughter rebooked. They refused to issue an itemized bill on check out preferring to show you the balance due on the screen. Very unprofessional in that regard. My daughter eventually used her marriot app to settle and check out."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Carlyle. Its most incredible feature is the Bemelman's Bar downstairs. It was super convenient and fun to meet up with all of our local friends there. It's rare to find a hotel that has such an iconic and lively space right inside the hotel. The staff was also super friendly, attentive and helpful. We felt welcomed and very well treated. "

"MY STAY AT THE ALOFT IS USALLY EXCELLENT, HOWEVER THE LAST TIME I STAYED THERE THE YOUNG LADY AT THE FRONT DESK TOOK HER TIME GIVING ME BACK MY MONEY, I LEFT FORVMY DEPOSIT. I TOLD HER I HAD TO GER TO WORK"

"Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and ready for us earlier than expected. Cocktail bar was very nice with a wide selection of wines and liquors. Steps from the Capitol Theatre and many incredible restaurants and attractions. Blocks from Strawberry Fields. Will definitely be back! "

"Love the location! Like that ice and vending machine with diet available 24/7. Like that a good restaurant is available essentially on site. Like size of room. Like doorman that flag down cabs. The Lucerne is a good goto on the Upper West Side."

"Sleep was fabulous. Although our heater made some disturbing sounds throughout the night. Breakfast was great. Would have been nice to soak in a hot tub after a 10 hour drive, but we picked this hotel for the location. Staff was friendly and informative. Even had a parking garage that fit our giant van!"

"Wonderful experience from start to finish. Close to everything. Great staff, great room, great proximity. Train next door did not bother us at all. Blended in with the sounds of NYC! Would stay here again. Our room was late by about 30 minutes with being ready, but we are flexible and know things happen. Worth the wait for the cleanliness that was provided."
