"Lovely old house that has become a beautiful inn. Walkable to downtown, train station, beach, terrific porch for outdoor afternoon relaxing. Our room “Wide Berth” was clean, spacious and bright, with two comfortable side chairs. Window ac unit was quiet and kept the room at just the right temp. Commin spaces were clean and well decorated."

"Very clean room, stayed in 2 queen room - young family of 4. Was large but basic when comparing to others we’ve stayed at on same road trip (Hilton/ Hampton inn etc). The shower took a while to heat up, room was quite warm without aircon on - was covered by the curtains. However was free parking, beds were v comfy and we enjoyed our stay. "I am very happy I found this hotel on Expedia. Beautiful hotel. Food was very good if you plan on staying onsite to relax it’s perfect. The location is amazing. Staff is very accommodating and kind. Definitely will return. Definitely would recommend. If available I would suggest getting an ocean view with a balcony. No options to sit at night unless you are at the restaurant. The only issue is sitting areas. Getting spots at the pool. There is plenty of room on the beach but if you can...

"The hotel was clean, but understaffed. There was no one at the desk to check us in when we arrived. The walls were very thin and you could hear the elevators and people talking in nearby rooms all night long."

"Everything here is maintained to a high standard. The grounds are immaculate, our room was large and spotless. Our only interaction was with the desk clerk. She was delightful. We only stayed for one night, and since there was a wedding reception going on in the restaurant we didn’t dine there. We did enjoy an evening nightcap on the porch rocking chairs.
