"AMAZING! We were instantly wowed when we walked into the property. Free ramen at night, free ice cream, private baths and amazing amenities were icing on the cake. Super easy walk into the gorgeous river area and town center made this resort even more attractive. Beauty all around you. Walk to the famed Bamboo Grove was about 15 mins and very picturesque. My parents and friends opted for on site massage and they absolutely LOVED it. It was so cute to see the guests walking around the resort...

"Our stay at the GrandWest Arashiyama was exceptional. The room was spacious and clean, reception was incredibly helpful, and the location was quiet and idyllic. During our stay we made the most of the amenities including free refreshments, a washing/drying machine, and a cute cafe situated just downstairs from the hotel entrance. Our stay here was easily one of the best parts of our trip to Japan and I highly encourage those visiting Arashiyama to consider this hotel!"
