"The location was great and room was comfortable. Not a luxurious stay if you’re used to that. Staff was nice and breakfast was great. They accommodated laundry service for us. My only complaint was that the hair dyer didn’t work and when I told them, they didn’t have one to replace it with. Had to air dry my hair. Overall, we would stay again."

"The place was perfect for our needs and what I expected. Nice and clean and small. We just needed a one night quick place to sleep then get to the train station the next morning. Location was a tad tricky to get to due to construction."

"There is virtually no lobby, no breakfast at property. Looks like low cost housing but rooms are ok. Bare minimum. Front desk not staffed 24/7 and actually closed holidays. Not a real hotel. Expensive for what you get. Good location but noisy area - across from casino. Hotel itself very quiet. Homeless people around. Felt safe but definitely not luxury property. "

"A great place to stay! Location was perfect for us. Staff was amazing both at the front desk and bar. Loved the rich history of the hotel and wished I could learn the stories and history of the travelers that had passed through this oldest hotel in Munich but loved the mini museum off the staircase. "Truly delightful stay at the Platz Hotel. It’s a beautiful and majestic showcasing some Bavarian designs with some modern accents. It’s centrally located in Old Town where it’s within walking distance to major attractions and transit lines. My room was spacious, clean, and had different amenities. That being said some time it was a little loud outside especially with the window open, but that is to be expected, I wasn’t really bothered. It seems I missed that there was no a/c, thankfully it wasn’t too bad, the room cooled down at night with the window open."
