"The location of this hotel is the draw, it is very close to the Alstadt and also to one of the main avenues where many of the tour buses leave from. The common areas of the hotel could use a facelift and some updating (the rug in our hallway was a little stained), however our room was very nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very small and could use some updating but it was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was super helpful and responsive to any questions/requests that we had; every single person we interacted with was so nice."

"The lovely young lady at reception expedited my check-in and was very helpful all-round. The area is a bit strange with a sex club on one corner, a Turkish restaurant and a cafe on the others, but 30 feet away you had a lovely Brauhaus with a Biergarden and nice food. It is fairly convenient for different stations, I came back on my own from a concert around midnight and was ok walking back to the hotel. Would highly recommend."

"Gritty but lively location immediately adjacent train station. Getting to the hotel down one-lane, one-way road took planning. 15 to 20 minute ‘busy’ walk to Marienplatz. Parking extremely tight but on premises for a fee and even though the hotel was sold out we always found a spot. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Outdoor courtyard was pleasant. They try to have some fun with Bavarian themed décor throughout. Breakfast for a fee was good but doesn’t set any benchmarks. Junior suite was spacious and second washroom appreciated. Bed comfortable. Not a fan of the room lighting as its all or nothing - no way to select individual lights. No switch for main bathroom lighting- its on a motion sensor only and stays on and shines through glass windows into the room and stays on for 7 minutes or so - not ideal at 3am when everyone else in room is (was) asleep! There was some noise from adjacent rooms but no street noise. Plenty of good eating options nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay fine."

"Beautiful hotel. Excellent location just across the street from the main train station. Plenty of places to eat. 20 minute walk to Marienplatz. There’s a hop on hop off bus you can take that’s 10 minute walk from the hotel. The pool is clean but cold. My only complaint was the pillows. They’re flat. I needed 3 just to get me comfortable. The bed is comfortable though. Overall our 5 day stay was enjoyable."

"The breakfast was filling and the staff was terrific. Our room was cleaned regularly, and the staff replaced the towels daily. The floor could have been vacuumed as there was a bit of dust. But everything else was well done. The bedding was comfortable. The pillows were good. One was on the cusp of being too flat. The comforter was top-notch. Magnets or weights in the shower curtain would have been helpful as the curtain drifted in as you showered and kept sticking to me. The front desk staff was super helpful. No AC but the evenings cooled down well enough to enjoy. There is a nearby nightclub that was noisy until 4 am on Friday and Saturday. My loop earplugs handled the noise. The hotel was extremely convenient to transportation, a park, medical facilities, and restaurants."

"My single room was spacious & simply appointed. This was my first time staying in an European hotel. Once you get through the quirks of digital only its quite enjoyable. The website was informative and gave simple explanations. Super location to Munich central train station, S-Bahn, tour activities & Karlsplatz!"
