"Great small hotel, helpful staff, newly refurbished rooms. Recommended."

"Stafff friendly, good location. Everything clean . .highly recommend xx"

"Quirky cottage, absolutely everything you would need for a long stay. Parking is a bit tricky but Sue the owner provides information on where to park. Handy for the Spoons 😊😊"

"The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked."

"I had a very nice three night stay here. Comfortable bed and bathroom, nice breakfast and indeed bar and dinner, helpful and efficient staff and plenty of parking. I will be back for a couple of nights next spring, and will also try other hotels in the chain."

"Great Stay Lovely Inn that serves excellent food"

"We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. Unfortunately this message was given to many other patrons and the bar was overflowing with people trying to find seats and order food. A group already sat at a table said we could have their table as it was obvious there was no chance of getting served. We...

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast!"

My TV didn’t work the first night but the staff fixed it the second night, and offered me another room if they couldn’t. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Hot food cooked fresh. The hotel is more central than I thought so easy to walk into town along the river or even to the large garden centre. A big downside is my room was...

"Lovely place and ideal for golf. Rebecca was very professional and a good laugh, which makes all the difference. The room was excellent, very clean, and nothing too much trouble. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying here again."
