"We love visiting this unique hotel. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The lido is spectacular. Our annexe room is spacious and has a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The addition of a fridge in the room was very welcome."

"We only stayed for 1 night with our dogs, the grounds of the hotel are stunning with lovely views. We were only given 1 bottle of water for our room, when booking I was advised the additional supplement for pets would ensure plenty water in the room, this was not the case but we had plenty with us anyway so didn't see the point in mentioning it. "Nice enough, can't complain. Great building. Tidy room, somewhat lacking in power sockets. Disappointing bed and bathroom for the grade of room we had - executive superior. Average breakfast. All good, just not amazing."

"This is a hotel inside a golf resort. Lovely breakfast and view overlooking the course. Room was quiet, safe and up to date with good amenities. The only thing I didn't like was them charging extra for pool towels. Those should be offered at the pool for guests of the hotel to use instead of taking one from room or being charged at such a swanky place. Bed was excellent and our sleep was very good here. Thank you!"

"We were allocated a room for a disabled person even though neither of us are disabled or had requested it. However we did appreciate the wet room rather than a bath with shower over. But, and a big but for any traveller, there was nowhere in the bathroom to place toiletries, razors, toothbrushes, deodorant, hairbrushes etc etc. All the things that are needed within reach of the sink. We ended up dragging the chair in the shower to the sink in order to have our toilet bags close without them...

The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside."
