"A brilliant cottage perfect for what we wanted very modern, clean, private, felt like home! It was really nice to get back to the cottage after a long day of walking and site seeing. Really easy to find using a sat nav and no trouble with the country roads or conditions of the roads to get there as seen in another review so don’t let that put you off booking! Nice little bonus of milk and cookies on arrival which was great as we arrived quite late without supplies so could still have a cuppa...

"The bathroom had a gas smell in the night and the toilet in room 215 was extremely difficult to flush . Tv needs a manual and couldn’t get standard channel on but room and view was wonderful. Staff short in breakfast area . Had to wait to get sat down . N still havnt got out toast . Food was lovely when we got it though . "

"The stay we had at The Bears Paw was perfect, rooms clean, food amazing, staff so friendly. We brought our dog, Paddington with us and the staff made him feel so welcome and he was even given a little gift on arrival and a sausage at breakfast. We had found this hotel on the off chance as we had come up to get some work done on our camper van! What a gem of a find! X Beautiful, cosy, clean, friendly hotel! We will definitely be returning. "The rooms are nice, functional and have large snart TVs, tea and coffee and everything else you would expect, but the best thing about this hotel is its staff. They always give a warm welcome, are helpful and treat you like friends, especially Jules and Beth."
