"Spark is very close to the wildlife refuge. Walking distance to Blackfin and McDonald's. Our stay was comfortable and we'd stay here again."

"The refuge lives up to its name; a quiet cozy spot to retreat and recharge. We loved the ponies, big shady trees, and proximity to Assateague. Our room was comfortable and clean; we had a mini fridge and a dehumidifier (critical in this region). I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with daily housekeeping and where everything simply worked."

"Hotel was amazing very clean, staff was nice. Only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. I called down to front desk for someone to come check it out and no one ever came. It was very hot out so coming in from a long day at the beach and being outside to no AC was disappointing. Funny thing is it started working properly an hour before checkout. Overall it was good"

"Such a fun place. Was my first time there and I had so much fun. Clean, great staff, 2 pools, hot tub. I can go on and on. My favorite was Tsunami Beach Bar. Bartenders top notch!! I’ll be back for sure"

"Our stay was good, quiet and the staff was accommodating. The location is great. Amenities are useful. The only negative thing I would say is a lot of their linens and towels have random stains on them. Even upon requesting new ones, they come with stains. Also the housekeepers don’t wear uniforms, it’s mostly young adults/teenagers wearing their normal clothes with an airpod in lol. But for the price and location it is fair"

"Rooms are tiny. If you need a bed and not much more then you’re good… because there’s not much else. Pool was nice however no supervision. Can’t control people who are inconsiderate of others. Parking was brutal. There’s a lot a block away. It’s fine if you never need to touch your car for the stay. Location is prime tho. Right at the front of the boardwalk. I’d come back for the location but nothing else."

"This is a really cool place. When you walk in you are greeted by tropical birds, a koi pond, a little restaurant, and an indoor pool with two hot tubs. The back exits directly to the beach. There is a small arcade above the pool but it was locked two out of the three times we tried to check it out. The balcony views of the ocean from our room were great. "Love staying here and will return time and time again. The rooms are always clean. You’re right near the ocean. They give you free ice in a bag and coupon discounts to the local attractions. They could have a better selection for the free breakfast. They do need to maintain the properties a little better. For the price, just the bed quality and proximity to beach makes me super happy!"

"Love the hotel and how clean it is the staff is pretty nice, however disliked the pool because people comes from the beach to wash the sand off including their sandals, the hotel has two showers outside my guess if there is a line people won’t wait and they just come to the pool to rinse the sand off, there is no excuse for that I visited the beach and I rinse myself outside. Also hate the fact that the room doesn’t have rugs, and walking without sandals you feel the sand all over the floor I...

"This place was great for the location! It worked great for our needs! Staff never came to clean our room, which I was fine with. When we would ask for more towels or anything we needed, they would get them and bring them to our room right away. The fridge was bigger than I expected and overall I would stay here again. It was perfect for an ocean vaca!"
