"The room was great. Very clean. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel is on the main road, so can be quite loud outside at times but they provide ear plugs (I travel with my own and with an eye mask in case places are loud and bright). I was worried about the bed as I'd read a review that said they were super soft, but apart from being a little softer than I'd personally choose it was fine and I slept well. "

"We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

"Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. The hotel is on a quiet residential street but took me 5mins to walk into the town centre which has loads of bars, shops and restaurants. Worth calling ahead of arrival and they'll reserve you a parking spot (There aren't many spots) Nice bloke on reception showed us our rooms and kindly found me a fan. "

"We’ve just had a lovely one night stay at The White Hart in Coggeshall. The inn is cosy and the room was clean and spacious. We were able to find a parking space in the small car park at the rear of the inn. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal and breakfast both of which were plentiful and delicious. If in the area again we would definitely stay here again. "

Large rooms and everything included. Iron and board. Hairdryer. Toiletries and towels. Good deals on several sites. Always affordable with free breakfast. "
