"Lovely old building with smells of a proper English b&b"

"All was great"

"Stayed for a wedding 💒 every thing was thought of and loved our room opposite the main venue … real milk! Loads of charm , great Fullers Find xx"

"Beautiful setting and conveniently located to Tring and especially the train station which is a couple of minutes drive from the hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. After hours eats/snacks are not available. The only reason I left 3 stars for "well maintained" is that much of the wood trim on the exterior of the hotel is in desperate need for paint before the intricate wood trims start to rot. The grounds are magnificent. We would stay there again."

"Helen was a marvelous host. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast options were classic and well balanced …made and presented with gourmet flair. Exceptional experience."

"Use of the spa was lovely. Dinner restaurant was great too! Clean and spacious room. Great value for money."

"Place was good however unable to watch stuff like Netflix as you cant connect your device to the TV wirelessly but overall good"

"My wife and I stayed here for our minimoon and enjoyed the architecture and views of the surrounding hills. What a lovely place to reset and the team were so helpful and accommodating. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and spa were a treat!"

"Lovely stay, great room and restaurants"

"Great hotel. Clean modern and excellent breakfast"

It wasn’t even the card used to book but one used to pay for breakfast. We were then told that she couldn’t fix it and WE had to email guest relations. We did and the guest relations sent an email back saying accounts will refund us IF the charge was taken twice in 3-7 days. Accidents happen but this has been dealt with incredibly poorly and...

"Fantastic location with great staff It’s a 400+ year old hotel and looks stunning, that age has it’s challenges and some internal corridors could use yet another upgrade Good pub and restaurant on site Would use again"

"Perfect for a one-night stay. Staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and very clean. The shower was great and the bathroom was spotless. Best part was the included breakfast - lots of choice and good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!"

"Thanks"

"Lovely room comfortable bed staff friendly and helpful and a lovely breakfast"

"Stay was great but breakfast was poor. Hot food tasted like it had been reheated from the day before, not enjoyable"
