"Breakfast was amazing and well enjoyed with a variety to choose from. Restaurant staff were great, exceptional customer service from Vikki and the manager Ellie. Reception desk staff were very helpful amd accommodating. Family room.was okay, good size, hiwver the bathroom was old and bath didnt look very clean, toliet was hard to flush, but overall a great stay and would recommend."

Member of staff at check in was friendly and professional and when he noticed that my partner used a walking stick he moved our room to a much closer, user friendly room without being asked. We were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary and when he found that out, he arrived at our room with a card from all the staff. Lovely touch. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and enthusiastic. Our room was spacious and clean. Very quiet too. ...

"The full cooked breakfast was amazing, i couldn't fault it, single room was small but clean and comfy. very friendly owners , and 2 lovely dogs who came to greet me. Overall i enjoyed my stay, and if im ever back in the area i would definately stay again. "

"The staff were friendly. Free parking was a bonus. The hotel has a gym/spa that is well run and the facilities were great. The hotel has a bar/restaurant which we did not eat at because the prices were very high. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby. I would highly suggest upgrading your room to a club room. These rooms are in a different section of the hotel and come with, late checkout, a coffee maker, and gym/spa access..plus this area was quieter. The only thing that put us off was...

"Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. Comfy bed, every amenity laid on, crispy linen and a boiling hot shower. Sadly the pub no longer serves food other than...

"The Talbot Hotel is in the heart of Stourbridge. It is easy to find with some parking at the back of the Hotel. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy with tea and coffee available in the room. great shower, comfortable double bed, very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to stay again, and would recommend to family and friends."

"Hotel and rooms need a lot of TLC, water takes a while to heat up and when it does the pressure in the shower is awful. Pool wasnt bad but there were no spa appointments avaliable depsite having a membership. And the junior suite dosent look like the photos. Ended up makkng a complaint andnit was rectified but still not happy with my stay. Wasnt worth the money I paid. "

Prices are about right The room was big, clean light and airy with good facilities. Definitely an above average establishment. I would definitely re visit."
