"Nice to be out on the pier and watch boats and ships go by. The hotel's free vintage car rides to restaurants in town was much fun. Old photos of the area on the walls was enjoyable along with a video of the building of the hotel shown on the tv in our room. Too expensive. Hot tub was not working. Natural gas was turned off to repair a leak near the hotel. Not the hotel's fault."

"The Welcome reception from the staff and the sea lions was a 10. Lovely sitting area outside the lobby/restaurant to watch the river flow by and listen to the sounds of happy, sleepy sea lions. Excellent location on the river walk past key sites leading to the Maritime Museum. Rooms are spacious and amenities very nice keeping with the historic cannery vibe."

"It was peaceful"

"Very hip and well located. Clean older property. Room is too small and no functional amenities, heck we had one of the few rooms with its own shower. Sound outside a bit much when we needed to open windows for airflow. Don’t get me wrong it’s a perfect place if you’re not looking for the usual hotel experience and the location is ideal. I’m also sure the cost would be greater with typical amenities, just be aware."

"lovely views, spacious, friendly staff, quiet, nice breakfast and a nice fireplace in our room"

"As advertised. Big pool with hot tub."

"I cannot believe the size of this room. My trip was weeks ago and I'm still in shock at how much room we had. The sea lions sung to us all night long, and we were not bothered in the slightest. We actually left the balcony door open all night. Breakfast was standard, and ok. Nothing spectacular. The bed, linens, and pillows were EXCELLENT. The balcony was HUGE. The TV sadly wasn't new enuf to stream any apps, etc. This was an extremely convenient location for the Columbia Crossing walk on the...

"Great stay. Very centrally located and clean."

"Rooms were clean shower was a little dated but functional took a while for the water to get hot but was good when it got there . Parking lot was full hard to find parking the first night"

"The hotel is basically a 1970s hotel with a smart TV and a microwave. Pulling up to it I said to my family, "the GPS just has the wrong address..." But nope this rundown looking place was really where I booked. Pictures were very deceiving, the address given was actually a block and a half down the street, there was only one ice machine which was literally nowhere near our rooms, and they didn't have enough staff to offer "normal" room service."

"Bed was tooo loud"

"Super comfy bed! Pet friendly and clean. I appreciated the grassy lit area to take the dog out at night. I felt safe as a female traveling alone too. Would definitely come back!"

"Such a beautiful place in a great location! Very peaceful and wonderful staff!"

"Everything was excellent. The only thing I would like is if beds were softer."

"My family and I had been visiting this hotel for years 2-3x per year while it was still the Crest Hotel because of the superb location and reasonable rates. The rates are no longer reasonable, there is no longer a delicious complimentary breakfast in the lobby, the coffee was terrible and the Jets in the hot tub weren’t working. Pros; the view is still superb and the staff was really wonderful. Like so many other places on the Oregon and Washington coast, locals can no longer afford to stay and...
