"I’ve been here a few times. There was some construction going on outside that would wake me up each day. The provided ear plugs were useful. In my experience, the rooms with a bathroom tend to be quieter than the smaller rooms with shared bathroom. They’re all comfy and close to a lot of Astoria attractions. No TVs in the room, but you can borrow a turntable and listen to a record."

"Fun quirky hotel with updated and well-maintained building...of note: structure have exposed reused/recycled woodbeams throughout. Nice big updated bathroom with a shower wort remembering. We didnt wanna leave. Dining room with bar was nice, the foods they serve had 'Scandinavian' theme, per receptionist. Dining room also faced river, which was nice. Centrally located next to all great restaurants and dives. No dedicated parking lot unless one pays $15 for valet. We parked just off street...

"The breakfast options were delicious with something for everyone. I enjoyed the complimentary use of their bike to ride along the waterfront and returning for fresh hot cookies and milk each evening was the cherry on top!"

"We got the king suit which was the last room on the 3rd floor that’s next to the water. You could on occasion hear the sea lions but they were not so loud that you couldn’t sleep. Hardly bothered us at all. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean with great staff. Overall a great stay and would comeback! Also the trolley stops right in front of the BW, super convenient to go into town."

"The headboard looked like it was not clean, it had marks all over it. When I addressed with the front desk they said there was no housekeeping on and offered a rag with some Lysol for me to clean it myself otherwise everything else was nice"

"room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. tv is a hospital-style monitor, but has a dvd player built in and they have an assortment on a shelf in the lobby you can watch. sound travels in this old building, so you’re able to hear neighbors above you and on your floor walking around and using the showers/bathroom. they do provide earplugs in the room, but if you’re sensitive to this, it may not be for you. otherwise, the shared bathrooms/showers were clean and stocked. there was...

"The room was clean, tv worked, small fridge was all I needed, water was hot! Easy walk to anything you could want. Grocery store might be two miles. One problem was traffic was kind of loud but not that bad and I could hear the folks in the room next door but again, not that bad. Bridge to WA was steps away."

"They have a unique business model with no management on the property. they were available by phone and text, but not immediately. This left several of us left out in the rain trying to get in our rooms. The communal kitchen was not really somewhere you could cook. There was a microwave and toaster oven, but no dishes. The rooms were small, but modern and efficient. Weirdly there were only a few guests although when I tried to book it showed it almost booked up. The location is great right near...

"Staff was great - super friendly and approachable. The courtyard is so cute and relaxing. Parking is tight, but you can park on the street. Breakfast delivered each morning which is nice - but would be less wasteful if we were asked about dietary restrictions. There were some things we don’t eat and it felt wasteful. That’s my only suggestion. We would stay again. "
