"A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised."
"Very clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and polite. Everything seemed great although Sunday night is popular in the pool with kids so less relaxing and burger in the bar was dry and overdone with a burnt bun, edible but if I was less hungry would have sent it back."
"Excellent short, one night stop here, arrived about 1800, check in was smooth and quick, staff helpful and friendly, only a short walk to the room. The room was massive clean and the bed very comfortable. It was Sunday night and there was a painter in the corridor decorating, but quiet and no bother. Room had all the expected; toiletries, towels, Wi-Fi, large tv and even a trouser press.
We were up and out at 0600 the next morning to race in a local triathlon at Belvoir Castle, night porter...
"Friendly, helpful staff. On arrival at check in, the hotel receptionist saw I was limping and said he would change our room to a ground floor one. Also, we said we are gluten intolerant and he said he would let chef know- chef coincidentally appeared in the hallway on the way to our room and said what a great choice there will be for breakfast! Very welcoming and accommodating here! "
"Clean room, looks newly refurbished, comfortable bed, air con was fantastic during a heatwave. Friendly staff, quick check in, good breakfast. Best hotel room out of a few I've tried in this area. Despite being above a pub was very quiet."
"We were looking for a place to put down our heads for a night, after an wedding. Our check in should only have been in the afternoon, but we needed a place to change into our gladrags for the morning part of the occasion and Carol, very kindly got our room ready early in the morning.
Such personal care and seevice has to be highly commended, would definitely recoomend this place and if ever in the area will be looking to stay here."
"We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too.
We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside.
The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive.
