"The night manager who checked me in was topnotch--friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. The room was clean and the king bed was comfortable. I would rate this place top honors except for the complete lack of amenities, particularly something as essential as cups. I can understand the need, on these times, to trim costs, and I can live without a coffee maker and coffee and most other such stuff. But cups are basic. I need to take my medications. I want to brush my teeth. I want a simple drink of water. And I'm supposed to just kind of slurp out of the faucet? Or head to the front desk to request a cup? That's not acceptable, and it's the fault of the company. The manager doesn't decide something that's clearly corporate policy. Cups, please, and maybe paper plates and plasticware to go with the otherwise pointless microwave. Provide those and your otherwise fine hotel will merit an excellent rating."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bloomington-Normal West, IL
10/10 Excellent
"This was a very comfortable property. The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and smelled good.
The hot breakfast was good. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would stay here again."
"When booking on Hotels.com there was not an option to select for pets, so I was honest and told them we had a pet, then they moved us from 2nd to 1st floor. Room I booked had a sofa, room I was given did not. Room was gross, floor was dirty, bathroom door didn’t close, room door appeared as though it had been knocked off hinges previously. Hallway overwhelming smelled of marijuana. Could not sleep well due to aforementioned. Top 2 worst hotel rooms of my life, and out of college 30 years ago I had a traveling sales job and I stayed in some dives to save $. I Do not recommend this place. F this place."
"Dated and old rooms. Peeling paint, bubling drywall. Patched and unpainted walls. Breakfast was barely existent and woeful. Not what one would expext for a $100.00 plus room.Wake up Red Roof Inns. Yes we like value but this one failed. 1st room smelled of cat urine and quilt was stained. Poor conditions overall. "
