"The breakfast was endless spotless and plentiful. The staff, especially the front desk, friendly, helpful, polite. No matter what they were asked to do a can-do attitude. They changed our room immediately to a handicapped accessible room. I gave you accommodations only four stars because there was a recent renovation that had some glitches with the handicapped bathroom."

"Large room. Well equipped kitchen. Would be good for a longer stay. Prefer a hotel with room service. Key pads in elevator and on room door too clunky. If you want to go keyless, let phone tap be the key. "

"Told us upon check in we had a $65 room service or restaurant credit for each day of our stay. So we used it. However upon check out they said it was really a $65 credit for entire stay. Very deceptive. "

I laughed with the staff about wanting to stay here because my last name is Platt..... (a few letters longer). I had a magical stay. I enjoyed the rooftop. The service was prompt. The rooms were clean, the showers worked, i'm in downtown new york city, what else can you ask for? Next time I come to new york, I'm staying here especially now that I know the neighborhood better."

"We love 1Hotel. This was our fourth visit. However, this visit was different. From the loud music playing until two oclock in the morning, to the garbage left behind outside the entrance to the nightclub, the vibe was not at all what we experienced previously during our trips to Brooklyn. We sincerely hope the decision to use the upstairs floor as a nightclub is reconsidered. Being kept awake by loud music is not acceptable. Also, there was a bag of trash sitting on top of the trashcan for two...

"Rooms were clean. Common areas need improvement in cleanliness. Specifically the floors. In restaurant, hallways, public restrooms. Breakfast adequate — pricey. Staff helpful. Good location. "

"Changed to handicapped room for way more space and comfort for our 6 night stay. Staff helpful in arranging this. Lots of nearby places to buy good quality food for diy breakfast in room w well appointed kitchen. Fresh fruit and yogurt downstairs was helpful too. Only drawback is the vacant lot next door where unhoused people sleep and leave litter behind in the morning. Otherwise cool neighborhood in Brooklyn close to Park Slope"

"Rooftop bar - a specific amenity that drew us to the hotel was used for a private function each night of our stay. Outside of those private events, we were not allowed to access the rooftop bar due to ongoing renovations. 1st floor bar/restaurant might as well have been a convenient store. Very little seating, bad drinks and food. The fitness center is located in the cellar. Seemingly an old janitors closet. The gym consists of 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical and a few dumbbells. I would recommend...
