"Our room was opposite the lift and having arrived late, we were then woken very early (6.10am) by the ding dong sound of the lift as well as the sounds of people talking. The sound insulation along the corridors is awful. The staff kindly moved us to a different room, which helped with the lift sound but not the talking of other residents which started at 7.30am on a Sunday. Due to all the tiled floors sound seemed to reverberate around the hotel. The hotel seems to be going under renovation so...

It seems that I was sent an email to advise us that we would be offered a room in a sister hotel. I never recieved it so we turned up expecting to stay here. "The place is spotlessly clean, there is plenty of free parking and the team there are excellent. The view from the room I had was stunning. It's very reasonably priced for what you get and one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. They also have lodges and a motorhome park, it's great."
