Hotel JS Palma Stay - Adults Only

4/10 Poor

"This "four star" resort really felt more like a 2-3 star budget hotel. To charge/ require cash deposits for the most basic things, like towels and robes, is not a 4 star experience. To provide the room with a tea kettle, but not even mugs or tea bags is not a 4 star experience. We called asked for mugs and were told tea is an extra charge. You do Know how cheap it is to buy tea bags, right? only a budget, 2 star hotel would do something like that. Also, there are never enough sun beds at the pool. Going to the pool with nowhere to relax is not a four star experience. Breakfast was not very good, yogurt ended up being my go to because everything else was disappointing. The rooms are tiny. I would not stay here again."

"Nice pool, great kids area and excellent breakfast. Location was quite nice for a quiet holiday. However this was all let down by the accommodation itself. We were in the “apartments”, which was an ugly block of rooms just outside of the hotel. The room we had initially was on the 4th floor and smelt really bad and the bathroom was dingy and so we asked to move. We were moved, after an extended period of waiting around to walk to the right person, and were offered a “downgrade” to a room on the 1st floor of the same block. This room was much cleaner and the bathroom less dingy, however the front door didn’t fully shut. We did ask to be moved but there were no other rooms available in the entire hotel apparently for the three final nights. We went to the pool and came back to our apartment (which was next to the sunbathing area) fully open - the cleaners had either not shut it, or because the door didn’t close properly, they’d tried and it didn’t work. We booked somewhere else and left."

"The spa including the indoor pool & sauna needed to be pre-booked which was a little bit inconvenient. The hotel itself is beautiful and really big. A short walk away from the beach and far enough to drown our the noise from the main strip. Housekeeping could have been better, the room was refreshed minimally and wasn't a full housekeeping service, just a turndown service and towel change. We had the half board which was great but only few veg options and soft drinks were not included. Overall a lovely hotel and enjoyable stay- lovely designed hotel."

"I dont usually write the reviews, but here I have to! The staff is incredibly helpful, they helped me with my booking misshap without any complaints and with a smile on their face. Amazing breakfast and Dinner. Definitely worth getting the half board! Short walk from the most beautiful beach! Can only recommend"
