The hotel has no access to the lake or the lovely grass yard in front of it. It is almost completely enclosed by a 6ft high fence with “no access” signs all over it that are pretty much what you are looking at. The soundproofing was excellent! Could not hear the motorway or people in adjacent rooms or in the hallway, even though the hotel was full."

"Stayed in the hotel section after a very long international flight so it was nice to be near the airport. Enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds and enjoyed a sunset view from the back of property. Had a nice dinner at the Palomino. "Loved the style of the hotel. Stunning decor and very comfortable beds. Staff were also delightful and well informed. The pool was a really decent size - though in contrast to the rest of the hotel the pool area is very grey and uninteresting. Also no jacuzzi. Food and drink very good and the dining room is beautiful. We had a spa suite which was very spacious and comfortable BUT be warned - it is a very long walk from these to the main hotel.
