"The room was nice. We had a king size bed (American sized) and a fold out hide a bed (bigger than a twin American, but smaller than a double) for our child to sleep in. They advertise that there’s more than one restaurant, but there’s only one. The food was average, nothing special, but also you know just pretty satisfactory. Also, it’s not really located in the heart of things. It’s definitely on the outskirts so getting an Uber took a while. I’d say stay here if you want a nice comfortable...

Comfortable bed too. Not happy with the coffee machine downstairs, expensive and terrible quality. Would not stay again."

If you have mobility issues then best specify when booking as there are a lot of stairs to upper bedrooms. Ideal location with Botanic rail station opposite. "I read a previous reviewer who commented on how dark the walls were. I thought that was a silly comment, but now I get it. You can barely see 2 feet in front of you in the hallways as the lighting is so dim and the walls are painted blk or gray. Rather outdated furnishings, dirty carpets, and homeless people going in and out of the little tiny lobby area. "Clean and tidy and comfortable but this is without doubt the noisest place I've ever stayed. There is supposed to be a noise curfew between 11_7 but that all goes out the window when there is nobody there to police it. Doors slamming all night partly down to the door closing system and you can hear every word spoken in the next room and when that is 3am first night and 4:30am second we were unable to have a full night sleep.
