"The room was nice. We had a king size bed (American sized) and a fold out hide a bed (bigger than a twin American, but smaller than a double) for our child to sleep in. They advertise that there’s more than one restaurant, but there’s only one. The food was average, nothing special, but also you know just pretty satisfactory. Also, it’s not really located in the heart of things. It’s definitely on the outskirts so getting an Uber took a while. I’d say stay here if you want a nice comfortable...

"If location is important this is not the hotel for you. We spent much of our day waiting at bus stops to get back and forth. Other than that it was fine. Nice room and it was clean. Comfortable bed too. Not happy with the coffee machine downstairs, expensive and terrible quality. Would not stay again."

If you have mobility issues then best specify when booking as there are a lot of stairs to upper bedrooms. Ideal location with Botanic rail station opposite. "I read a previous reviewer who commented on how dark the walls were. I thought that was a silly comment, but now I get it. You can barely see 2 feet in front of you in the hallways as the lighting is so dim and the walls are painted blk or gray. Rather outdated furnishings, dirty carpets, and homeless people going in and out of the little tiny lobby area. "I cannot fault anything about Wilton House! Spotlessly clean, well fitted with premium equipment and even left us tea, coffee and sugar. A large smart TV, new washer dryer, fridge, freezer, pod coffee maker and kettle as well as quality crockery and cutlery meant that every need is catered to. High speed WiFi is easily accessible.
