"Lovely modern apartment with all mod cons, great private parking and proximity to city centre."

"This place was lovely. Very impressed."

"Clean but not so nice. Very old and creaky. Wish I would have noticed, NO elevator!"

"The room was clean, and the place is alright. But 2 issues: My room had an electric shower and it didn’t work right. Same low pressure whether the knob is on low, eco, or high. And the water temperature swings were insane: it kept alternating between freezing and burning every 10-15 seconds. And then the second point was the mattress; not exactly comfortable. If this was a hostel or a two-star hotel, I wouldn’t complain. But this is meant to be a four-star hotel… I had a “luxury room” that...

"Very good accommodation in good location. Very straightforward self check in. Staff very helpful and available via text. Lovely clean and spacious room."

"Check-in process easy, and we were sent the required access codes on the afternoon of the start of our stay. Very clean, plenty of hot water and comfortable bed. Kitchenette has enough equipment for making simple meals. Sound insulation between the floors could be better, as we could hear footsteps from the flat above, but it did not cause us any inconvenience. Only a couple of minutes walk away from frequent bus services into the city centre. Large Tesco's and small Co-op, along with...

"I was really taken back by the size of the room (extremely small) but it was clean. The bed however was sunken in in the middle. The toilet roll holder was not fixed and fell off. I had to re-attached it. I locked the bathroom door when I had a shower and really panicked when I couldn't unlock it which wasn't pleasant. The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything eg others walking or using the bathroom. For the cost I thought it was very expensive. "

"I was going to say probably the worst place I’d ever stayed, but I’ll change it to definitely, I don’t have a good word to say about my stay, the only thing I would say is don’t stay here. "

"Great room with space to spare. Power shower hot water was good. Bed comfy. Wish there was also a sheet, not just a duvet/doonah. Too hot in summer for a duvet! Do-able walk from city centre, or bus public transport. Quiet street. Good breakfast, worth the £10."

"The Rocks Bed & Breakfast is located on a beautiful, quiet piece of property and offers all the comforts of home. The room is spacious, with it's own unsuited and a king-sized bed. Not to mention the wonderful breakfast that is freshly prepared each morning. The owners are warm and incredibly accommodating, you truly feel right at home. I would definitely book there again!"

"It was very cozy and fit all of our needs perfectly"

"not enough parking"

"Well communicated contactless check in, beautiful property and rooms, cute little town, and the breakfast was good! Coffee was great, Charlie makes a great flat white! Parking can be a little bit of a nuisance, and like many historical properties no elevator so if you need help with your luggage plan ahead as the property is not always staffed. Lovely. Also Forrest Park is not to far down the road if you would like a lovely walk around the lake. the Parson's Nose is quite good as a dinner option...

"I have never been received so warmly at any hotel in my entire life of travels. I wish I could remember the young ladies name who checked us in. She was so helpful and went out of her way to receive us. She literally followed me out to the car to take our luggage in, she stored it until our room was ready and when we returned everything was in our room. She helped us pull our car out of the parking lot, went out side and waved us on. She helped us find a tour driver, who was equally...

"The controls for the HVAC would not allow me to turn on the air con and I was hot sleeping every night."

"Haslem Hotel was very helpful leading up to my trip - responsive to calls and emails. The night of check in, they were there when I arrived late (around 10p) and we're extremely kind. The apartment i rented was EXTREMELY spacious. The downside for me was the cleanliness was not the level I expected from reviews. The bathroom had lost of lime buildup and mildew on the shower, there was a bloodstain on my pillow and dried up ... hot chocolate? I hope? on the rug by the bed, and when I noticed a...
