"Really loved this hotel. The move away from traditional hotel model is refreshing and suits my style perfectly. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. They also think about the little things, like a personalised note and charging cables, which really added to the experience. It's in a relatively isolated part of town, but that's not necessarily a problem. Plenty of public transport, grocery stores, cafes and restaurants within short walking distance. Will stay at these hotels again...

"The staff was super nice and helpful, the room was large and spacious and clean. Only 2 unexpected issues- I was put in a handicap room, and the shower door did not close so water was everywhere, and the bells from Town Hall are VERY LOUD at night. Not sure if a room on another side of the hotel would have helped? Also not sure if those bells ring every night...."

"Really enjoyed our stay here, staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast as in all Norway hotels is superb. Please note there is quite serious construction work going on beside the hotel and they start early, 7am! It would definitely be worth requesting a room away from the work site. The location is 10minute walk from railway station and there are a lot of very good bars and restaurants close by. You are also very close to the Munch museum and Opera House with the floating saunas close by...

"The breakfast buffet was my favorite part of the state, with many hot dishes and cold cuts available every morning, as well as two kinds of fish: smoked and cured. The hotel rooms are not air conditioned so I don’t know if I recommend it for the hot or even warm months of the year as I prefer to keep the windows closed when I sleep and it did get stuffy in the room towards the morning in mid-April. I strongly recommend this hotel as an option for all mild weather travelers!"

"Lovely location, property is well designed but needs updating in its overall conditions i.e grouting in bathrooms and fixtures. Overall staff pleasant, but during my stay in my opinion only one member of the front reception desk delivered a 5* service with a smile. The others lacking- apologies I didn't get her name. "
