"Room was clean hotel was close to beach & restaurant "

"The room was clean but dated. The toilet drained slowly. It stopped draining and we were unable to have maintenance fix it for 12 hours because there was no one there. It was fixed after our second trip to the desk in the morning (once maintenance arrived). Immediately after I booked, I started getting texts saying that to make my experience better, I could pay an additional $75 for an earlier check in or late checkout. That was my first red flag. Many hotels will let you check in before 4:00 if the room is ready, which it usually is. I arrived at 2:30, and they let me know the room wasn’t ready and that I had to check in at 4:00. "Check in was good no problem at all. After checking in we decide to grab a coffee. When we got the coffee the cups did not seem very strong. When we were going back to the room my daughters cup started bending and making the hot coffee fall on her hand. I asked for a clean up and some ointment for the burn.
