"We feel comfortable about staying at this Super 8. It’s not super, but it’s near our kids who have no guest room and it’s one of the least expensive options. There are no bugs, the bed’s pretty comfortable, it’s sanitary. We always stay here when we visit our kids in East Texas.
There was a nice family handling most of the administrative details, and another woman who was pleasant enough. Somehow they prematurely shut off our key card (the day before we were to check out), which happened the last time we stayed there as well. No apology was forthcoming. Nevertheless, it’s our go-to. I make these comments only for the purpose of bringing awareness/improving in those specific areas, not as major complaints.
The breakfast is very limited but we can find something to put in our stomachs before we head out without spending more money so it is satisfactory."
