"There was nothing in the kitchen. Had to ask for toilet paper, curtains were ripped and dirty, carpet was dirty and stained, halls smelled like pot. I was very disappointed in the room. I actually got scared one night cuz there was to much going on in hallway. Was not given extra towels unless used ones were given back. I would never stay there again. Appearance from outside is nice but once inside it’s extremely disappointing "
"Great stay. Drinks in the evening with “super” pre dinner snacks. Al’s breakfast in the morning was great. The service and staff members are fantastic."
"Lovely stop on our trip - the rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast was wonderful. Parking is expensive here, but you're downtown so expected. All complaints are minor, but be aware:
parking is confusing if you've not been here before, honestly pay for valet if it's your first time, or if you have a tall vehicle (garage is 6'6"); noisier AC than average but just a bit; rooms are dark - very moody lighting which is fine if you like that; we didn't have any washcloths and one side of our night lamp was burned out, both would probably have been easy calls to the front desk if we weren't so tired. "
"We’re entering the hotel, there was a gentleman there who you could tell what’s under mental distress. He was talking to himself, pacing the floor. I asked the staff member was she OK oh, and was he OK? She says yes that he’s always there he’s no bother. I understand the fact that you would not want to put someone out if it’s inclement weather. But also you have to remember that you’re running a business, and not all guests will be comfortable with walking in with a person that is experiencing some type of mental health issues being there in the lobby.
Also, the rooms were not clean. They were very worn and old. Serious updates. Need to be done to this hotel."
